Trade Introduction
Rule 30(1) of Weights and Measures Rules and Regulations (Amendment) 1981 stipulates that no person shall involve in making, repairing or selling any weight and measure or instrument for weighing and measuring, whether it is for gaining of profit or not, unless it is licensed for that purpose by Chief Inspector.
The weights and measures license comprised of 3 types of license;
- License to Make, Repair and Sell the Instrument for Weighing and Measuring
- License to Repair and Sell the Instrument for Weighing and Measuring
- License to Sell the Instrument for Weighing and Measuring
