EXPORTATION OF PETROLEUM/ DIESEL / NON-SUBSIDISED LIQUID PETROLEUM GAS (LPG) ABROAD PERMIT

1. BACKGROUND

   According to the Control of Supplies (Prohibition on Export) Regulations 2011, provides that no person shall export diesel, RON95 petrol, liquid petroleum gas (LPG) and wheat flour to any destination except the manufacturer of such goods with the permission of the Controller of Supply.

2. CERTIFICATION CODES

   The tariff codes for petroleum, diesel fuel and LPG products under Customs (Prohibition of Export) Duty Order 2017 are as follows:

PROCEDURE FOR APPLICATION FOR EXPORT OF PETROLEUM PRODUCTS (PETROL RON 95/ DISESEL/ LPG) NOT SUBSIDIZED ABROAD

1. 1Applications to export petroleum products abroad can be submitted online through the Electronic Control Items Trade System (eCTrade) via the link https://ectrade.kpdnhep.gov.my.
2. The system usage guidelines can be reviewed using the guidelines module in the eCTrade system (PETROLEUM PRODUCT EXPORT MODULE).
3. Approval consideration will take within 14 working days from the date the complete application document is received.
4. The effective period of the approval is according to the expiry date of the CSA and PDA license whichever is earlier or 1 year from the date the permit is issued. The same letter may be used repeatedly as long as the quantity of product exported does not exceed the approved quantity.
5. Checks on the status of the application can be made using the check module in the eCTrade system. Successful applications can print a letter of authorization from the eCTrade system immediately after the application is approved.
6. The authorization letter is only valid for one delivery only and cannot be used repeatedly. A new authorization letter must be applied for each time a shipment is made.
